ENVIRONMENT CONTROL

• During the design stage, in order to avoid the use of fluoride, formaldehyde, benzene, (such as paints, adhesives, MDFF), we can use environmentally certified materials.

• We incorporate a ”work zone” project site to ensure proper ventilation and good air quality.

• We complete as much of the work on wood and paint as possible in the factory’s wood shop.

• System furniture and carpet glue at the construction site must be tested before use.

• After project completion, environmental experts will be invited to conduct an air quality test.

Page 21: Muraya Introduction

MATERIAL COORDINATION

• Factory – Through our local factory, we can provide unique and custom-made interior details. – Shorten the overall project time and ensure compliance with VOC standards for paint and glue onsite. – Keep special materials for preparation.

• Transportation – All materials are checked before it enters the project site.

• On Site – Every floor has a centralized materials storage area, so that workers know where to go to obtain certain tools or materials.

– This will contribute to project efficiency and prevent the loss of valuable work time.

CONSTRUCTION WASTE MANAGEMENT

Construction Waste Management is a part of a growing movement toward a sustainable world. Sustainability or “green” management techniques are designed to protect the environment, save resources, and conserve energy. The use of construction waste management techniques which rely on salvage, recycle and reuse of materials have proven to have economic benefits for the construction industry. On every site & in the factory, all waste materials are deposed into a recycle bin which is separated in to different groups. These recycle bins are handled and controlled by certified recycle stations.

Circulatory products: – Wood – Steel – Glass – Plastic

Acrylic materials that require special handling: – Paint and used brushes – Thinners and solvents – Excess latex paint (Note: Solidify for disposal with other construction materials.) – Oil based paints – Other suspected chemicals may be regulated as a hazardous waste or special industrial waste.
