- Fiecare fus format din 8-10 celulefoarte alungite, modificate, denumite
fibre intrafuzale, inconjurate de spatiulperiaxial, care contine un fluid; acestansamblu este inconjurat de o capsula
- 2 tipuri de fibre intrafuzale: cu nuclei incosulet, mai numeroase si cu nucleiinsirati (in lant); in jur: celule muscularenemodificate, denumite extrafuzale;

- Filete nervoase senzoriale formeaza
terminatii anulo-spirale (sau primare), injurul portiunii centrale a fibrelor fuzale(adaptare rapida) si terminatii nervoasesecundare (adaptare lenta).
- Filete motorii, eferente, !, se terminape niste placi motorii la nivelul fibrelorintrafuzale;
- Fibrele extrafuzale isi primescterminatiile nervoase normale (eferentemotorii ");

! RS slab dezvoltat! caracteristica absenta tubilor T
