Muscle structure Fascia – connective tissue around muscle, becomes the tendon

Origin – on stationary bone

Insertion – on the moveable bone

Fascicle – bundle of muscle fibers

Muscle fiber – muscle cell

Myofibril – made of sarcomeres (in-between two Z bands)

Myo-filaments – actin and myosin
