Functions Movement,
Stability, Protection, Temperature Regulation
Support, Movement, Protection and Storage
Major Parts/Organs Protection,
stability, body temperature
Compact bone tissue, spongy bone tissue, and bone marrow
Interactions {2} Interacts with the
skeletal system by the muscle making the skeletal bones move and protect them.
Digestive system is protected by the Muscular system.
Skeletal system interacts with the nervous system by the skull protecting the soft tissue of the brain.
Skeletal system interacts with muscular system in working together with muscles, bones enable you to move away from unpleasant stimuli or damage.
Maintaining Homeostasis Your temperature
must stay high so your functions can work.
That turns into Chemical Energy.
Homeostasis requires that all body systems functions properly together because bones supply calcium to your nerves, muscles, and healthy skeletal system is important in maintaining your body homeostasis
Health/Diseases Healthy bones
come from a good diet,exercise,etc.
Diseases come from not exercising or not eating correctly.
It is good to exercise to strengthens you bones like running, weight lifting, and swimming.
Diseases are like arthritis and osteoporosis which you get for not being healthy
Fun Facts Cardiac muscles
which are found only in the heart.
Involuntary muscle which is muscle you cannot consciously control.
Smooth muscles are involuntary muscles named for their smooth appearance.
Exercises place weight on bones or work bones against gravity help keep the skeletal system healthy
Cartilage protects bones such as those in your knees.
