Dear Members and Friends,

My mother was a stickler for her wee offspring saying thanks for whatever came his way. That wasn’t always easy in that some of our well-meaning neighbors would give us their leftovers both in food and clothes. The trouble was that most of the goodies came from the Leitch family who had more girls than they had boys, so some of the “goodies” were certainly not going to be on my back. But mom would always say, “Well, she meant well….” Saying thanks for me was simply an obligatory necessity for something I didn’t like or want.

Yet, I have to say that I really do enjoy the Thanksgiving Season, and from Annah and me and all the church staff, we wish for you a very happy and meaningful Thanksgiving Day! Sunday, November 23, is when we celebrate this season of giving, and present to God our pledges for the coming year.

We join our voices together to thank you for your wonderful generosity over the months and years, as you have supported and prayed for our church, making it the great place of worship that it is.

THANK YOU!
