She moved to N.Y.C. and for 21 years performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in TV commercials and tons of regional theatre. K.K. has performed for twenty-five seasons in Brunswick, Maine. She is a former Regional opera winner in Illinois and an accomplished pianist.

She is a dedicated dancer, singer, actor, and artist. Claire is also an accomplished violinist, having studied from the age of two. This year she has added the oboe to her musical life. Claire feels extremely grateful for the love and support of her family who make it possible for her to follow her dream of performing.

Drayton Entertainment: Over the past two decades, Alex has directed close to 100 productions, including last season’s 9 To 5: The Musical, Harvey, Big Band Legends and Annie. Other theatre: He has also directed shows at The Grand Theatre (London), Lighthouse Festival (Port Dover), Stage West (Mississauga), Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton), Piggery Theatre (North Hatley, Quebec), Gilbert & Sullivan Society (Waterloo & Toronto), and K-W Musical Productions. Alex holds a Masters Degree in Arts Administration from City University in London, England, and an Honorary Doctorate from Wilfrid Laurier University for his contribution to Canadian theatre. Most recently, Alex was awarded The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions to the arts in Canada. He is also the recipient of the 2009 Maggie Bassett Award from Theatre Ontario, an Ontario Innovation Excellence Award, and has been recognized for his efforts by the City of Waterloo, United Way, and local and regional tourism organizations. Don began studying drums at six years of age; starting his professional career at 17 and is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program. Don is also a private drum teacher instructing students in the fine art of percussion for over 30 years. He is very pleased to be back for his fourth Drayton Entertainment production.

Film/TV: Twelfth Night, The Tempest, JFK: The Reckless Years. Merlin has performed professionally for over thirty years in musical groups ranging from duos to symphony orchestras. His astonishing versatility on woodwinds, guitar and bass has made him a sought after performer in jazz, classical music and theatre.

Merlin Williams (Clarinet/ Flute)

Drayton Entertainment debut. Other theatre: Fiddler on the Roof, Evita, The Pirates of Penzance (Stratford Festival), White Christmas (Sony Centre), Canadian Opera Company, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Hamilton Philharmonic, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, Aradia Ensemble, Nota Bene Baroque, Grand River Baroque Festival. Andrew is the Artistic Director of a chamber music series in Stratford called INNERchamber, which explores the wonderful music written for smaller groups of instruments.

Other theatre: Steve has provided music direction for over 100 productions throughout the United States and Canada, including Theatre Aquarius, The Elgin Theatre, Lighthouse Festival, Drayton Festival Theatres, Vancouver Playhouse, Charlottetown Festival, Showboat Festival, Sunshine Festival, Muskoka Festival, Stage West, Theatre Brockville, Canada’s Wonderland, and Theatre Sheridan.
