Music industry: Performance (Cert III) A full year program designed to develop technical and performance skills in conjunction with developing knowledge of the Music Industry. This course focuses on developing performance proficiency through understanding competent rehearsal procedures and performance skills. Participation in live performances is mandatory. This course also includes activities designed to develop skills and knowledge of songwriting, genre study, copyright, notation and music technology. Prerequisites: Enrolment Interview > Cert III Certificate III | 60 Credits | Full Year Assessment: Stage II Certificate III Music Industry (Performance) Assessment is delivered over 11 Competency Units. Throughout these Units there are written assignments, oral presentations and practical observations to be made. Future Pathways: Professional musician, Composer, Music Technology, Music business, Music teaching and Music in the community. Future Study: Cert IV Music, SACE Stage 2 Music, Bachelor of Music Transferable Skills: The Certificate III Music course is designed to develop and apply a proficient level of skills within industry standards e.g. being creative, initiating ideas, listening, communication, teamwork, problem solving, planning and organising.
