    Two friends who ran in the same circles, take the stage to share their worlds.

  • PATTIE BOYD Pattie Boyd was a successful Vogue model in the 60s and 70s. She was cast as a schoolgirl for the Beatles wildly popular film A Hard Days Night, and there she met George Harrison, who upon meeting her, proposed marriage to her immediately. Not many years later, a good friend of Harrisons, guitar legend Eric Clapton fell madly in love with Pattie and openly wooed her in front of his good friend. She broke with Harrison and married Clapton. The muse of a generation some of the most powerful love songs were written about her: Harrison wrote Something Clapton wroteLayla, Bell Bottom Blues and Wonderful Tonight leaving us to wonder what was it about Pattie Boyd? Patties lifes work is inspired by art and music her photography and writing reveal her life and intimate experiences with some of the world's most revered musicians.

  • With an eye for art, Boyd developed her passion for photography, being recognized and awarded for her work from the London Royal Photographic Society.

    With a heart for enlightenment and Eastern mysticism, Boyd inspired the Beatles to meet the Maharishi in India.

    Her book, Wonderful Tonight: George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Me, became a New York Times bestseller.

  • HENRY DILTZ In the world of rock n roll photographers, there are none as extraordinary as Henry Diltz. His work behind the scenes of the greatest rock bands of the 60s and 70s in the Los Angeles and Laurel Canyon scene create the visual history of that time. For over 40 years, his work has graced hundreds of album covers and has been featured in books, magazines and newspapers. His unique artistic style has produced powerful photographic essays of Neil Young, Paul and Linda McCartney, Buffalo Springfield, the Mamas and the Papas and scores of other legendary artists. He shot album covers for The Doors, Crosby, Stills and Nash, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and the Eagles. As the official photographer of Woodstock he documented the Summer of Love. His photo of Tina Turner became the iconic image representing the Brooklyn Museums highly acclaimed Who Shot Rock N Roll exhibition and his photographs are featured in the History of the Eagles documentary and the When Youre Strange film about The Doors.

  • With so many incredible people in common, its a wonder the lives of Pattie Boyd and Henry Diltz never crossed sooner.

    PaRe set up this shot at their home Kinfauns. She was proud of the rose garden and got this wonderful shot just as George was geRng bored and looked away. It turned out to be one of her most popular photographs celebrated around the world. Photo PaRe Boyd

    Linda Eastman met Henry in New York at a photo shop and they became friends. Years later he was surprised to hear she married Paul McCartney. She called him up because they needed some family photos and she trusted Henry to do that wonderfully. It ended up being a cover for Life Magazine. Photo Henry Diltz

    They met for the first time only a few years ago and with so many wonderful stories to share they instantly became fast friends.
