A staff is more than just lines and spaces. A staff
has a clef sign, time signature, bar lines,
measures, notes,key signature, ledger lines, notes, rests, and
lots of other stuff.

Treble ClefTreble Clef / G Clef
Names the second line: Line G.Steps to drawing the treble clef:1. Draw a vertical line from top to
bottom.2. Go to the top of the line and
make a loop to the fourth line.3. Cross the line and go to line 1.4. Wrap around line 2.

Time SignatureTime signatures tell you how many
beats and what kind of notes per measure there are.
The top number tells you how many beats per measure.
The bottom tells you that the quarter note ( ) equals 1 beat.

They have parts which makes them different: head, stem, flag, beam, and dots.
