Rae Kelly Dublin born Rae Kelly’s charming blend of catchy pop, sultry jazz and thought-provoking lyrics endear her to audiences. She has been composing since the age of 10. Her influences are eclectic, varying from David Bowie, Elliott Smith and Radiohead to Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and Carole King.By the age of 18 she had twice been a finalist in the Irish 2FM National song contest and was hailed by an Irish radio presenter as “the full package’’.She moved to St Albans and has obtained an Msc in Music Composition for Film and Media.

Tranquil Fury are a St Albans based rock band originally formed in 2007. Current lineup of Phil, James, Lloyd, Jamie and Suffian have been steadily honing their skills and building a following, in and around the 3 counties and London area over the last 4 years... early tracks creeper and reformed were featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC6 show “introducing”. In 2009, the boys released their first music video and accompanying digital release “the price” (briefly shown on Sky’s Lava TV) which led to over 20,000 views in the first month. TF shows are high octane riff-packed adventures....

Waiting For KatherineWaiting for Katherine have taken the local scene by storm in an amazingly short period of time. They’ve been together as a band for less than two years, had won Battle of the bands 17 at The Horn within a few months of getting together, and since then have built on their reputation as one of the best and certainly most enjoyable live bands in the area, with regular headlining slots at local venues. WFK combine heavy pop-punk riffage with sing-a-long choruses, a quirky sense of humour, an absolute focus on fun and an everyone-join-in attitude.

The Horn St Albans will keep the music flowing with DJ sets throughout the evening and a late night party back at theirs with MCU1 runners up Swanvesta Social Club!
