Installation Instructions

1) (Direct Bury) Dig footing as shown. Refer to the Direct Bury De-tail.

2) (Direct Bury) Attach intro post assembly to fitness footer, using 3/8" x1 1/8" BHCS w/pin with 3/8" flat washers & 3/8" standard hex nuts with3/8" flat washers. Refer to the Direct Bury Detail. Place the intro postassembly in footing hole, and prop in plumb position. With intropost assembly in plumb position, pour concrete footing.

(Surface Mount) With intro post assembly in final position, use acenter punch to mark expansion anchor locations on concrete slabthrough holes in intro post assembly plate.

Move intro post assembly aside and drill 3/4" x 2 1/4" deep holes intoconcrete, using a hammer drill and 3/4" masonry bit. NOTE: Drillholes perpendicular to the work surface. To assure full holding power,do not ream holes or allow the drill to wobble. Verify hole depthafter drilling. Clean holes using compressed air.

Tap double expansion anchors (with threaded end down) into drilledholes. Reposition intro post assembly. Fasten intro post assembly toexpansion anchors, using 3/8" x 2 1/4" BHCS w/pin and 3/8" flat wash-ers.

Eco #54718 Document 18903300 replaces 17645300. Replaced expansion anchors with double expansionanchors.

1) (Direct Bury) Dig footing as shown. Place fitness footer in footinghole. With fitness footer in plumb position, pour concrete footing.Allow concrete footing to cure a minimum of 72 hours before attach-ing post assembly to fitness footer. Refer to the Direct Bury Detail.

2) (Direct Bury) Attach stepper post assembly to fitness footer, using 3/8" x1 1/8" BHCS w/pin with 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" standard hex nutswith 3/8" flat washers. Refer to the Direct Bury Detail.

3) Attach bumpers to frame, using 3/8" x 2" BHCS w/pin with 3/8" SAEflat washers and 3/8"standard hex nuts with 3/8" SAE flat washers, asshown. Refer to the Bumper Attachment Detail.

4) Turn jam nuts onto threaded pivot shafts. Turn (2) spherical rod endsonto threaded pivot shafts. Turn threaded pivot shafts into sphericalrod ends that are attached to stepper arms. NOTE: Do not tightenjam nuts to spherical rod ends at this time.

5) Attach foot pads to stepper arms, using 3/8" x 7/8" BHCS w/pin & 3/8"SAE flat washers.

6) Attach attachment covers and stepper frame to stepper post assem-bly, using 3/8" x 1 1/8" BHCS w/pin & 3/8" SAE flat washers. Refer tothe Handbar/Shroud Attachment Detail.

7) Insert stepper shaft through stepper arms and 1 1/2" O.D. x 5 5/16"long lower inner plastic spacer, as shown. Fasten stepper shaft toshaft plate, using 3/8" x 3/4" FHCS w/pin, as shown. Refer to the Step-per Arm Assembly Detail.

8) Attach stepper arm assembly to stepper frame, using 3/8" x 1 1/8" BHCSw/pin with 3/8" SAE flat washers and 3/8" standard hex nuts with 3/8"SAE flat washers.

9) Attach spherical rod ends to stepper pivot, using 5/16" x 7/8" BHCS w/pin & D washers. Refer to the Pivot Shaft Attachment Detail.

10) Tighten jam nuts to spherical rod ends.

11) Attach stepper stop to frame, using 3/8" x 7/8" BHCS w/pin & 3/8" SAEflat washers, as shown.

12) Attach attachment cover and handbar to stepper post assembly, us-ing 3/8" x 1 1/8" BHCS w/pin & 3/8" SAE flat washers. Refer to theHandbar/Frame Attachment Detail.

13) Attach shroud cover to frame, using 5/16" x 7/8" BHCS w/pin & 3/8"SAE flat washers, as shown.

14) (Surface Mount) With stepper post assembly in final position, use acenter punch to mark expansion anchor locations on concrete slabthrough holes in stepper post assembly plate.

Move stepper post assembly aside and drill 3/4" x 2 1/4" deep holesinto concrete, using a hammer drill and 3/4" masonry bit. NOTE:Drill holes perpendicular to the work surface. To assure full holdingpower, do not ream holes or allow the drill to wobble. Verify holedepth after drilling. Clean holes using compressed air.

Tap double expansion anchors (with threaded end down) into drilledholes. Reposition stepper post assembly. Fasten stepper post assem-bly to expansion anchors, using 3/8" x 2 1/4" BHCS w/pin and 3/8" flatwashers.

HealthBeat® 177723 Stretch Station



1) (Direct Bury) Dig footings as shown. Place fitness footer in footinghole. With fitness footer in plumb position, pour concrete footing.Allow concrete footing to cure a minimum of 72 hours before at-taching stretch station post assembly to fitness footer. Refer to theDirect Bury Detail. Attach stretch station post assembly to fitness footer,using 3/8" x 1 1/8" BHCS w/pin with 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" standardhex nuts with 3/8" flat washers. Refer to the Direct Bury Detail.

(Surface Mount) With stretch station post assembly in final posi-tion, use a center punch to mark expansion anchor locations on con-crete slab through holes in assembly plate.

Move stretch station assembly post aside and drill 3/4" x 2 1/4" deepholes into concrete, using a hammer drill and 3/4" masonry bit. NOTE:Drill holes perpendicular to the work surface. To assure full hold-ing power, do not ream holes or allow the drill to wobble. Verifyhole depth after drilling. Clean holes using compressed air.

Tap double expansion anchors (with threaded end down) into drilledholes. Reposition stretch station post assembly. Fasten stretch stationpost assembly to expansion anchors, using 3/8" x 2 1/4" BHCS w/pinand 3/8" flat washers.

2) Attach upright post assembly and handle assembly to stretch stationpost assembly, using attachment covers, 3/8" x 1 1/8" BHCS w/pin and3/8" SAE flat washers. Refer to Detail.

3) Insert upright straight post into top rail. Place top rail onto uprightpost assembly. Drill 1/4" holes through upright straight post and up-right post assembly, using the predrilled 1/4" holes in top rail as aguide. Insert 1/4" x 3/8" drive rivets into drilled holes and tap pin inuntil it is flush with rivet head. Refer to the Top Rail AttachmentDetail.

4) (Direct Bury) Place swivel plate assembly over bearings on groundpipe assembly. Tap 1/4" x 3/16" drive rivets into holes.

(Surface Mount) With swivel assembly in final position, use a cen-ter punch to mark expansion anchor locations on concrete slabthrough holes in assembly plate.

5) Attach foot pads to swivel plate assembly, using 3/8" x 7/8" BHCS w/pin and 3/8" SAE flat washers. Refer to Foot Pad Attachment Detail.

6) (Direct Bury) With upright straight post and ground pipe assemblyin plumb position, pour concrete footings. Allow concrete footingsto cure a minimum of 72 hours before users are allowed to play onthe fitness equipment.

5) Place 1.25" O.D. x 1.25" bushings and speed balls onto wheel shafts.Tap 3/16" x 1 1/4" spring pins into holes in speed balls. Refer to theSpeed Ball Attachment Detail.

6) (Surface Mount) With Tai Chi Post Assembly in final position, use acenter punch to mark expansion anchor locations on concrete slabthrough holes in Tai Chi Post Assembly plate.
