    Dear Jeremy,

    Greetings of Peace!

    The Region X DOST SEI Scholars Guild (RXDSSG),as the mother organization of all DOST Scholars campusorganizations in the region, is committed to provide venues for unity and camaraderie among its scholars.Presently, RXDSSG is moving towards more proactive efforts in bringing up leadership, and academicexcellence in response to environmental concerns. Hence, we consolidated the postponed three-daysummit into a one-day activity entitled Uban Kauban: Regional DOST Scholars Fellowship scheduled onFebruary 16, 2014, 7:00 AM 6:00 PM at Apple Tree Hotel and Resort, Opol, Misamis Oriental.

    In line with this, we would like to formally invite the DOST-SEI Scholars of MUST to this event. Being oneof the major schools of the region, it will be greatly appreciated if you could join and be part of history.

    Below is the official flow of the program for the event;

    We also listed some guidelines for you to remember:

    Highlighted herein is a part where your organization will be given time to present organizations

    accomplishment for the past months of this academic year. We are allocating 5-7 minutes forevery presentation (PPT are encouraged).

    We are also requesting your organization to have a presentation (live, video or a combination ofboth). This is to showcase the talents of the regional DOST scholars.

    For the challenge course, participants are encouraged to bring extra clothes because there aresome wet activities included.

    Please inform us if you ll directly proceed to the venue for us to allocate transportation vehicle forthose who don t have. Departure from Xavier University to the venue will be at 7:00 AM.

    Each organization should prepare a roster of candidates for the election for the followingpositions; President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Representative. Eachrecommended officer should not be a graduating student and be at good-standing.

    We advise all the scholars to bring gadgets that are only necessary during the summit and avoidbringing those that are not (such as iPads, mp3 players and the like). The organizers will not beresponsible for any lost or damage of this personal items.Students with some health problems for this event must consult first with the organizers.
