Goals
• To explore strange new worlds and go where no Steve has gone before.
• Create a world that can familiarize a user with n-spacial-dimensional environments. Starting with simple conceptslike movement and position and moving up to more complex things.
Motivation
• Adding spacial dimensions greatly improves complexity. Even 3D worlds use shortcuts and per-rendering to achieve the desired effects.
• Many people have a very hard time understanding this concept. This is a fun opportunity to try and show them the concept in a form that should be easier to understand.
Technical Challenges
The step from 3 to 4 D is the same multiple as the growth from 2 to 3 D. We need to simulate a 4D world and keep the work load manageablefor 'real time' exploration.
We are used to experiencing a 3D world in 2D (screen). The challenge here is to express the 4D world on a 2D screen in a way the user can understand it. (This will inevitably impose limits on the controls.)
We will need to define the 4D world to be simulated, and integrate in how objects act across the 4th dimension.
Different people learn different ways. We can't accommodate all people

Questions?
➢ No, Time is not a “spacial” dimension. You can argue that it is but for this project we are making the distinction between “spacial” and “temporal” dimensions.
➢ Yes, I am a god.➢ 42
