My Audience Profile

From my research I have decided to give my film trailer an age rating of a 12A this means the trailer is suitable for children aged 12 and over. However, people younger than 12 may see a 12A so long as they are accompanied by an adult. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult. I have done this because when researching I found out that ‘Taken’ was rated a 13 and my trailer is going to be similar to that if less violent and brutal. When aiming my film trailer at an age range I would say that teens and young adults will enjoy it the most but it is suitable for everyone over the age of 12 to watch.
