My Bubba & Mi are a country/folk/blues/other girl band from Demark, who write and play their own songs which are created through the inspiration of countryside lullabies. The band comes together when the girls move into the same house and convinces one another to sing, while playing in public an Italian spots them and brings them to Italy along with the support of record label “we were never being boring”. While exploring Italy and playing to a variety of audiences and settings, the band put together their album “How it’s done in Italy” and from there on they’ve been enjoying a tour around the whole of Europe, selling their albums and experiencing what all young and [extremely] talented artists should be.

My Bubba & Mi released this poster and pinned it in many a areas in varies countries to inform people of their upcoming tour. The band visited eight different countries in Europe.

The band also produced these vinyls for their fans. They were available to buy on their European tour and through the “we were never being boring” wbsite which is also linked from their website. The vinyl sleeve matches their overall style and feel in both presentation and sound, and of course their striped flagship is featured on the cover

My Bubba & Mi are signed to two record labels; “we were never being boring” and “Beep! Beep!” both of which consist of similar styles of music and artsy bands. Also quite low key, only signing 9-10 artists.

The band now, however odd it may seem, was put together by combing their names. My (My Lasdotter) was the original person living in the home and Bubba (Gudbjörg Tomasdottir) later moved in and discovered My singing, after a little convincing Bubba started to sing along with her. A few months later Mia (Mia Olsen) moved in with all her organs and instruments and the band progressed from there onwards.
