My Day At The Zoo

My day at the zoo was very exciting. I notice a lot of animals. My favorite animals were a Tiger, Elephants, Lion, Monkeys & Giraffes. I can’t wait to visit the zoo again!

Tiger

• Adult weight 143-670 pound• Life span 15-20 years• No two tigers have same pattern of

stripes on their coats.

Lion• Baby lion are called cubs• Mother lion may have 3-6 cubs

Giraffe• Giraffes rarely lay down

• They even sleep and give birth standing up.

• The tallest of all living animals.

Elephants

• Baby elephants are about 3 feet tall.• Elephants are fully grown at 10 to 15 years

old.• Elephants maybe 11 feet tall.

Monkey

•Babies stay with mother until 3 or 4 years old.

•Mother feeds and protects her babies.
