Exhortation:

Reference Scriptures: Psalm 18:30

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who

trust in Him.”

Cell Leader Says; Today, we are going to be looking at a very instructive topic; “Trust

And Obey”

The title of today's devotion reminds me of a popular song we sing in church. It goes like

this: “Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey”

It's a simple song but very instructive. When you hear God's Word, trust it.

Sometimes, it may sound difficult, but as God's child, you must believe and act on what it

says.

Therefore, as the Word comes to you today “…be doers of the word, and not hearers

only…” (James 1:22).

Further Scriptures to Read:

James 1:22-25

Memory Verse: Psalm 18:30

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who

trust in Him.”

Confession:

Dear Lord, as your Word comes to me, I trust in it completely and whole heartedly

for it has the power to produce in me all it talks about, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Offering Time:

The children should give their offering. The cell leader should pray to bless the offering or

make a call for anyone who would like to pray over the offering.

Announcements & Closing

Announcements should be read out as applicable from the “Prayer & Planning Cell

Meeting Template and the children led in a short closing prayer.

Adult Cell Supervisor: Please collect all cell offerings and attendance register from cell

leaders immediately after the cell meeting.

Brief Review: - Cell Leader should read the devotional article for Sunday, December 11th “Have

An Excellent Character” out loud and lead the members in the enclosed prayer and confession

Have An Excellent Character

“Good people are directed by their honesty; the wicked shall fall beneath their load of sins.”

As a child of God, your character should set you apart from everyone else. Imagine, you found

some money or other valuables around your school. It was probably left there by someone you

didn't know. What would you do? Some people might think of keeping it, but shouldn't! It would be

wrong for you to keep something that doesn't belong to you.

The right thing to do would be to take it to either your parents or someone with authority. That's how

the children of God behave.

Further Scriptures to Read:

1 Peter 2:9

Let's Pray

I display an excellent and upright character everywhere I go. Hallelujah!

Bible Study Outline for December 11th 2016

Topic: WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN OLD FRIENDS TRY TO DISTRACT YOU?

Our topic of study today tells us that now that you are born again, you belong to God's family

but that doesn't mean you can't talk to your old friends who aren't yet saved.

When your old friends come around you, that's an opportunity for you to share the Gospel

with them so they too can get to know Jesus.

What do you do when they try to distract you? Remember what 2 Peters 3:3-4 says; they would

try to distract you and take you back to the old life, but you must refuse to be moved by them.

Refuse to allow their attitude distract you from your fellowship with Christ. Don't accept their

advice. Instead, focus on God and His Word.

In the early days of farming, a farmer would put a beam (called a yoke) on two animals of the

same kind, two donkeys for instance, and attach them to a plough. The plough would break the

soil as the animals moved. Because of the yoke on them, they moved in the same direction.

Wherever the first one went the second followed as the farmer directed them. That's an equal

yoke! But if the animals were different, say a donkey and an ox, it was called an “unequal

yoke” because they weren't of the same kind.

2 Corinthians 6:4-16 shows that a Christian and a non Christian shouldn't be best friends,

because they won't be an equal yoke. God wants you to be best friends with other Christians

who love Him just like you. Don't make friends for the wrong reasons.

Remember, there was a day God sent Samuel to Jesse's house to anoint one of his sons as

Israel's king (1 Samuel 16:1-13). When Samuel saw Jesse's first son Eliab, he said, “Surely, this

must be the Lord's choice!” because he was tall , dark and handsome. But God stopped Samuel

and said, “Looks aren't everything. Don't be impressed with his looks and stature. I've already

eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the

face; God looks into the heart (1 Samuel 16:7 MSG).

God chose David because his heart was right with God. So, be best friends with those who

love God and belong to Him! Anyone who's not born again can't be your best friend; he

doesn't qualify by God's standard to be such. This is very important.

Bible Exhortation For The Outreach Meeting from The Rhapsody of Realities for Early

Readers

Exhortation: Cell Leader Says; Today's Rhapsody of Realities Devotional Study is titled “The

Greater One Lives In You!”

Reference Scriptures: 1 John 4:4“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

As God's child you don't need to wear a long face when you're confronted with difficult situations. When David fought Goliath, he knew he was not alone; that God was with him. This made him bold, and he was victorious.

The Bible says that we are victorious because, “The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties.” (Romans 8:37 GW).

Therefore, know that no matter how difficult the situation may seem, you'll always come out as a victor!

Let's Pray

The Greater one lives in me. Therefore, I'm an overcomer in this life, Hallelujah!

Memory Verse: 1 John 4:4

Cell Leader should lead the members to recite this verse of scripture several times.“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

Cell Leader Says; From our Bible Message today, we saw that as God's children no matter how

difficult the situation that confront you may seem, you'll always come out as a victor!

To be eligible to live this life of victory irrespective of difficult situations, you must first believe and

accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living of God and Saviour of the whole world and confess

with your mouth that He is Lord of your life. This is what it means to be saved. You can accept Jesus

today by praying this very simple prayer and mean it with all your heart;

Cell Leader should make the call and lead those who indicate they want to give their heart to

Christ in taking the prayers below.

Offering Time:

The children should give their offering. The cell leader should pray to bless the offering or make a

call for anyone who would like to pray over the offering.

Announcements & Closing

Announcements should be read out as applicable from the “Outreach Cell Meeting Template” and

the children led in a short closing prayer.

Fun Activities & Goodbyes

If you have lined up fun activities for the day please have the children enjoy and have the opportunity

to foster new friendships with the new converts and visitors that came for the outreach meeting.

Adult Cell Supervisor:

Please collect all cell offerings and attendance register from cell leaders immediately after the

cell meeting.

Salvation Moment:

Prayer of Salavation:

Oh Lord God, I come to you in the Name of your Son, Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that He

came into this world and died for my sins and the sins of the whole world. I believe that He was

raised up from the dead and He is alive today. I confess with my mouth, that Jesus Christ is

Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. Therefore I declare that I am saved. I am

born again. I now have Christ dwelling in me. Thank you Father. Amen!

Reference Scriptures: John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Exhortation: Cell Leader Says; Today is our fellowship meeting day and the Rhapsody of Realities

Devotional Study is titled “A Wonderful Gift”

Let's begin by playing a little “Word Game”

Cell leader should give opportunity for cell members to share what they understand or think is the

meaning or Synonyms for the term “Gift” and acknowledge every contributor.

Merry Christmas! Have you said that to someone today? You should! It's another wonderful time of the year, where we get to give and receive gifts. But do you know there's a gift that's more wonderful than any gift you could receive today? That gift is eternal life!

It's the special gift the Lord Jesus brought to us all. When you received the Lord Jesus, you also received eternal life. It's a life that's greater than sickness and death. It's a life of victory and success. It's the life that you live!

Share this wonderful gift with someone today by winning them to Jesus.

Further Scriptures to Read:

2 Corinthians 5:18

Pray:Thank you Lord, for the amazing gift of eternal life, the divine life that makes me victorious in all I do, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
