Throughout the programme members of our leadership team will attend your learning activities. In an informal environment they will share their inspiring career stories, answer your questions and share knowledge. In addition we will work with you to find a suitable mentor that will help expand your knowledge and enhance your skills, as well as stretch and challenge your thinking.
To complement your technical and professional development the programme includes learning events to help build your behavioural skills. For example, presenting with confidence, your personal brand and team building.
We will provide support and guidance in connecting and registering with your relevant professional institution and developing your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) log. We actively encourage placements across disciplines and on site to strengthen your breadth of knowledge and your ongoing professional development.
Your technical development will be a key aspect of your every day on-the-job learning, working on live projects with real responsibility. Your line manager and project teams will provide you with support and guidance throughout.

Early career leadership
Our Early Career Leadership Programme is a 6 months long training programme aimed at the development of our future leaders who are early in their careers. A series of interactive and engaging learning sessions on various people skills and business awareness topics are facilitated by the leaders of the business.
The main aim of the programme is to:
Develop internal leaders within our business
Drive agile learning
Expand awareness and capability to lead cross-functional / multi-disciplinary projects
Increase networking capabilities

Taskforce is a group of early career professionals brought together to improve business performance through knowledge sharing and to work on topics strategic to the success of WSP.
