Writing a Winning
Be sure to include some accomplishments for each position you’ve
held. For example, if you were a salesperson you might include
information like “increased sales by 25 percent my first year by
attending industry trade shows,” or if you are an accountant, maybe
you “saved the company 20 percent by comparing long distance
options.” Make sure any claims you make are true and that you can
provide proof if asked.

Governor Attends Maine Employer Support ofthe Guard and Reserve Awards PresentationAUGUSTA – Governor Paul LePageand First Lady Ann LePage bothattended the “Breakfast with the Boss”awards event at the Senator Inn onFeb. 29. The event was put on by theMaine Employer Support of theGuard and Reserve, to recognizebusinesses who work to supportdeployed troops and their families.
The Maine Employer Support of theGuard and Reserve (MESGR)organization works with employersacross the state to support our Guardand Reserve service members. Thegoal is to help businesses strike abalance between success andmaintaining relationships with ourdeployed troops, and our militaryfamilies.
