APPLICATIONSMY-LO-JEL is an economical andeffective filtration-control additive.It works in all waters, includingfresh water, brackish water, sea-water, and saturated salt water. Itmay be used in most mud systems,including lime, gyp, lignosulfonate,polymer, non-dispersed, potassiumand others. Normal treatmentsrange from 4 to 8 lb/bbl (11.4 to

22.8 kg/m3), depending on themake-up-water chemistry anddesired fluid loss. A minimum con-centration of MY-LO-JEL is requiredbefore a significant reduction influid loss will be observed. Unlessthe system has a base of saturatedsalt water or has a very high pH, abiocide will be necessary to preventbacterial degradation.
