QUOTES

It was really a good experience, that makes me have

more interest in learning Mandarin and Chinese culture!

I would like to continue Mandarin!

I want to participate in this competition next year! I had

a really wonderful experience, although we didn’t win at

last, but we saw other schools’ performances and knew

where to improve.

QUOTESUpon arrival, she went through the GCSE and Pre U syllabus and now she has sound knowledge of both syllabi. It did

not take her long time either to establish a good connection with her pupils across different year groups - students find

her oral lessons very helpful and genuinely enjoy having lessons with her. Students have clearly benefited a great deal

from her authentic pronunciation and her superb native language skills. Apart from oral lessons, she is also responsible

for a 3rd Form teaching set, preparing for lessons, conducting exams, giving order grades and writing reports. She has

also taken the responsibility of coaching the group performance for the HSBC Mandarin competition and delivering

cultural DLT sessions in the prep school. (Mentor: Zhang Li)
