What type of insurance is it?The My Skiing Insurance contract is intended to protect natural persons during their skiing acti viti es.

The plan will take eff ect from the purchase date of the Package unti l the expiry date indicated for the Package, and, at the latest, on the last day the ski stati on is open.

It is possible to terminate the contract by sending a registered lett er with acknowledgement of receipt, or via any other means set out in the contract, to the Policyholder of the contract within 14 calendar days following the date on which the membership is concluded (or from the date on which the interested party received the contractual conditi ons if this latt er date occurs aft er that on which the membership is concluded).

Payment must be made up front, in one instalment, upon subscripti on.

Under penalty of nullifi cati on of the insurance contract or a lapse in coverage:Upon subscripti on: to respond exactly to questi ons posed by the insurer, to provide all the supporti ng documents requested by the insurer and pay the fees (in part or total) due.During the course of the contract: to declare any new circumstances which may increase the risks taken or create new ones (change of address for example) via registered lett er within 15 days of becoming aware of them and pay parts of the fees due.In the event of an claim: to declare any incident that may invoke one of the benefi ts of the contract under the conditi ons and deadlines given, and att ach all documents useful for the assessment; to declare any other plans or packages that may have been taken out for the same risks in whole or in part with other insurers, as well as any refund that you may receive regarding a claim; to declare an incident as soon as you are aware of it and at the latest within 2 working days, in the event of theft , or 5 working days for any other event (in the event of a natural or technological disaster, the deadline is extended to 10 days following the publicati on of the ministerial order recording this state).

The benefi ts take eff ect for Incidents occurring in mainland France and in neighbouring countries with which the Policyholder shares the skiing area.

THE MAIN EXCLUSIONS FROM THE CONTRACT ARE:Consumpti on of drugs, of any narcoti c substances menti oned in the French Public Health Code, medicati on and treatments not prescribed by a doctor.Traffi c accidents caused by the insured party while they are under the infl uence of alcohol characterised by the presence of a blood alcohol level higher than the level authorised by regulati ons in force in the country where the accident occurred.Intenti onal acts, deliberate faultsConscious non-compliance by the insured party with the State’s laws and regulati ons in force in the holiday locati onThe insured party's suicide or att empted suicide, self-muti lati onCivil or foreign war, riots, social movements, strikes, acts of terrorism or sabotage;Earthquakes, volcanic erupti ons, ti dal waves, fl ood or natural disasterAccident resulti ng from the insured party's practi cing of sports within the framework of an offi cial competi ti on

Illness or accident of which the Insured party is aware during the reservati on or purchase of the package, leading to treatment during the month prior to the reservati on or purchase date of the packageIllness or accident due to alcoholism, drunkenness, use of medicati on, drugs or narcoti cs which are not medically prescribed. Dismissal for gross misconductPregnancy, except for any complicati ons due to this including, miscarriage, childbirth and so on, in the month prior to the eff ecti ve date of the reservati on and purchase of the package.Executi on of a spa therapy, necessity to perform a beauty treatment (unless following an accident or illness), psychological or psychotherapeuti c illness including a breakdown, except in the event of hospitalisati on for at least 3 days.Accident caused by practi cing the following sports: air sports, bobsledding, skeleton, rock climbing, ice-hockey, scuba diving.

* The €30 excess is applied once per fi le regardless of the number of benefi ts involved.It is not applied if the fi le only relates to the search and primary transport fees.
