Personality development is a process and not a result it is continuous, growing, changing and maturing. An average person can become better and a developed person can achieve greatness when he or she concentrates on the self from point of view of improvement. God has endowed us with many physiological and psychological features to develop the into better self .

3.) How would you describe emotional Intelligence? Why is it important? Explain with example.   Emotional intelligence is a combination of inter-personal intelligence intra- personal intelligence. While inter-personal intelligence deals with the ability to understand other people intra-personal intelligence is the ability to turn within and understand one’s own feelings and behaviour. Emotional intelligence therefore is an ability to master one’s own emotions while helping others to use their emotions positively in life. Let me manage my emotions, and not let my emotions manage me! It is very important to hide our emotion in front of other because its shows the weakness of a person.

What do you understand by leadership? Define the basic qualities of a leader. Can Leadership be developed? Can you become a leader, if yes – how? If no why

Leadership mean: “mastering, ruling commanding, directing and being the chief”

Leadership is more than accumulation of knowledge and technical skill. Leaders guide and motivate others to do more than they thought possible. It takes creativity, empathy & hard work. Military leaders have often been compared with business managers as both have clear objectives, roles and responsibilities and share similar qualities, such as vision, the ability to manage people and handle crisis situations.

LO2

Why is it important to manage our time? Identify barriers of time and how they affect us?

The word time means several different things to different people, as situations and tasks change. For example ‘one hour’ is ‘too short’ a time span for a child playing with friends and ‘too long’ when forced to study a subject which the child is not interested in. Time can be a: Span, Age, Moment, Interval or flash.

Page 14: My Personality Development All Task

Good time-managers are people who are always on time. They do things on time and are respected

and promoted to the best positions in life. successful people know the value of time and hence, use time wisely to produce excellent

results on all areas of their lives

Value your time. It is precious. Very precious!

The value of time

“Time is money” we often hear people tell us. Yes, time really is money. Every minute of our life is worth a lot of money because huge investments

have already been made in it by people like our parents and family.

Page 15: My Personality Development All Task

• Keep everything in writing and decide what is most important and do that first

• Don’t make the mistake of doing what you like instead of doing what is important

• Do the most difficult job first• Stop keeping things pending

How individual can be a better planner in terms of time management?

Page 16: My Personality Development All Task

Keep a strong goal automatically decides what to do and when.

All goals must have dead lines.

Reject all those which are unimportant and time wasters.

Write things down, don’t try to remember, carry a pocket diary.

Make friends who are productive rather than who indulge in time pass activities

chronological age.

• Ego states can change several times during transactions.

Page 20: My Personality Development All Task

• There are three Ego states that are: • PARENT• ADULT• CHILD

Page 21: My Personality Development All Task

1. PARTENT

• While in the parent ego state one behaves as though all other persons involved in the transaction are like children or grandchildren.

• From this point of view, this is an adoptive role where people become

• Authoritative; caring; controlling; advisory and sometimes bossy.

 2. ADULT

• The ‘adult’ ego state is aware that is person has ‘parents’ and ‘children’ to look after responsibly.

• This is role of care; concern; respect; responsibility and maturity.

Page 22: My Personality Development All Task

3. CHILD

• The ‘child’ ego state has the liberty of fun loving and carefree behaviour while being aware that ‘adults’ and ‘parents’ are watching over the behaviour. The playfulness may end or escalate when adults and parents enter the scenario.

• COMES TO MY EGO STATE.

• The ‘child’ ego state has the liberty of fun loving and carefree behaviour while being aware that ‘adults’ and ‘parents’ are watching over the behaviour. so I’m in child ego state but soon i want to change my self into adult ego state because If you want that other people should give you attention and appreciate you, try to give attention to other people also. And for that I want to change my self in a role of care, concern, respect, responsibility.
