proposal I  planned  to  do  a  fashion  magazine  based  around  the  word  vintage;  I  decided  to  call  my  magazine  Bailey  and  Eve  as  it  links  in  with  the  vintage  feel  and  is  very  catchy  and  also  to  target  at  teenage  girls  aging  between  14-­‐25.             Front cover double PAGE

I  planned  to  feature  one  page  with  a  close  up  of  a  model  on  and  the  other  was  going  to  feature  a  fun  element  with  four  Polaroid  pictures  pinned  to  the  page  by  paper  clips.  I  believed  this  element  will  appeal  to  the  target  audience,  as  it’s  fun,  creaFve  and  vibrant  instead  of  being  plain  and  dull  which  I  think  will  aGract  more  teenagers.    

On  my  front  cover  I  planned  to  feature  pastel  colours  such  as  blues,  greens,  pinks,  yellow  and  purples  etc.  Also  I  planned  to  use  a  an  Italic  Title    “Bailey  &  Eve”,  eye  catching  Cover  lines  and  lastly  one  dominant  image  of  a  female  model.  I  believed  these  above  will  appeal  to  my  target  audience  as  the  colours  are  quite  pure  and  also  the  young  model  has  been  featured  so  it’s  relatable  to  the  audience.    

I  planned  to  adverFse    products  like  nail  vanishes,  converse,  hair  products  and  accessories  etc.  By  featuring  adverFsements  like  this  I  believe  I  feel  I  will  certainly  be  appealing  to  teenagers,  as  this  age  group  tend  to  like  and  wear  these  above,  and  also  I  may  include  vouchers  and  offers  as  this  will  aGract  teenagers  and  the  product  they  want  to  purchase  will  be  cheaper.

target audience Within  the  collage  below  I  have  gathered  a  variety  of  images,  which  I  believe  my  target  audience  would  wear,  interests/hobbies,  music  they  would  listen  to  and  lastly  generally  things  that  they  would  be  interested  in.      

•  Wear  jeans,  novelty  t-­‐shirts,  Converse  Boots,  Dresses  and  jumpers  from  brands  such  as  New  look  because  the  clothing  is  quite  cheap,  stylish  and  affordable.    

•  socializing  with  friends,  shopping,  Going  out,  PainFng  nails,  wearing  makeup  and  going  to  parFes.    

•  Katy  Perry,  Miley  Cyrus,  Bruno  Mars,  liGle  mix,  Rhianna  and  Beyoncé,  I  believe  my  audience  would  listen  to  celebriFes  like  this  because  pop  genre.

aGract  females  as  the  fonts  portray  a  sense  of  relaxed  and  calmness  .  

•  Cover  line  “Vintage  explosion”  highlighFng  stories  and  fits  to  the  genre  of  the  magazine.    

 •  I  added  a  Polaroid  picture  to  add  interest  to  teenage  

trends.      

•  Used  pastel  Yellows,  Blues  and  reds  colour  as  I  wanted  to  be  unique  within  my  magazine  and  reflect  the  theme  of  vintage  in  a  modern  way      instead  of  going  down  the  pink/purple  root.  

•  Used  a  Flower  background  I  created  using  a  threshold  filter  and  bright  solid  colour  in  photoshop.
