On our first day in Oro Site High School, I felt mixed emotions. I was happy,

excited and a little bit nervous. There are a lot of thoughts coming into my mind as I entered

the class of II- aaasahan. I !new it was the star section in the second year level so my hand

shivers and my heart beats that fast. The same feeling was rushed into my veins when I met

the two other sections. The II- asipag and II- apag!alinga.

"irst, I introduced myself and stated my purpose and expectations from them

since we will be together for almost three months. I find it hard to memori#e their name

because they are in a large class. They are $% students in II- aaaahan, &' students in II-

asipag and $( students in II-apag!alinga to be exact. Imagine that)* +t first, I feel that I am

not existing because they seldom tal!ing with me. They always chat with their first student

    teacher.

Honestly, that moment I feel so embarrassed. ut then I understand the situation

because I do not !now them, and they do not !now me either. They ust !now me by name.

Thats why I cant cope with my nervousness because no one motivates me in the room, only

    the other student teacher.

ut, there are times that they were very noisy and naughty. In fact, there was a

time that my two pupils fought inside the classroom. ut no worries, I was able to manage the

situation. ut there are times that I couldnt bear with them because of their misbehavior so I

let them stand until they can correctly answer my /uestions as my conse/uence.

ut lots of moment when we enoyed staying together and as time passes by,

they became my very good friends outside the classroom.

Im very than!ful and honored that they become my students. ecause of them,

my teaching experience in Oro Site High School was fulfilling and complete.

    character of being a professional.

I am very much than!ful to this teacher because of her warm-!inded heart and

dedication to her profession. She always corrects my mista!es from the lesson plan down to

These days were tough moments to the students. The pre-serviceteachers were sympathetic as big numbers of students were not able toconcentrate on the examinations by reason of heavy rains that may causefloods within the vicinityA this had been ground of their anxiousness.

    January 14-18, 2013

This was the first wee! for Bth grading period. This time, the studentteachers are facing math problems. Since the periodic test is done, they are

as!ed to compute for the grade of their students. Students are very muchexcited to !now if they improve or not. Some students got a passing grade butsome are failed. Its so hard on the part of the teacher seeing the students fail.

2e end the wee! with a %- day seminar conducted by the programdirectors, 3herryl 9avericio and 7velyn . +rimado. It was attention-grabbingand a incredible moment for the pre-service teachers as they had learned a lotfrom the resource spea!ers concerning the art of /uestioning, teachingstrategies, +C+S orientation, and personality development.

+nother wee! of teaching. 2e are able to introduce new topics to belearned. +t this point, few topics are left to discuss. I discovered that most of thestudents are motivated and lively in the class if we have a fine-loo!ing visualaid. That is why I always prepare powerpoint presentation and video clip so thatthey will clearly understand the topic we are discussing.

"ebruary =B, %'=( is commonly !nown as the day for Dalentines

celebration. The pre-service teacher employed an activity with Dalentinesconcept-integration. She was surprised and happy of the valentines letters, teddy bear, flowers sent by her second year students and the comments andinspiring messages they tossed.

This is the last % wee!s in the field. The student teacher was tas!ed to do thepaper wor!s including the construction of Bthperiodical test, item analysis and table ofspecification. The pre-service teacher had prepared lesson plans and other documentneeded by the cooperating teacher.

efore we end our moment as a student teacher, we grab an opportunity tothan! the students for being cooperative in every discussion they go through. 7vensometimes they misbehave in classA I !now they appreciate our existence as theirteacher. This is the saddest part we encounter in the school, saying goodbye.
