One day Byron was sent to the office for bringing his pet frog, Old Green, to school. He did not understand why his teacher screamed when Old Green jumped on her head and hid in her blouse.

Now Old Green was missing and Byron was in big trouble!

"Now", said Mrs. Chomistek, the principal, "You need to be more responsible blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,... ."

Byron was thinking to himself and then he said, "I wish my principal was a kid like me!" Just then - Kaboom!

Mrs. Chomistekchanged into a kid! Byroncould hardly believe whathe was seeing!

Mrs. Chomistek was shorter than Byron and she had a goofy grin on her face. Her eyes were full of mischief.

She said, "From now on all pencils will be made of chocolate and every day all of our students will eat candy for lunch." Byron knew then that this was going to be a great day.

Now Mrs. Chomistek yelled at the secretary, "Go lock the teachers into the exercise room so that they do not bother us! Shut off the bells because we will be having resess all day and gym whenever we want."

She ran outside to the pond and gathered up thousands of frogs and even a moose! Then she let them loose in our school!

It was becoming crazy inside our school.

When the bell rang for home, nobody left. Mrs. Chomistek said that we would all sleep in the school from now on, but when none of the kids came home from school, our parents started to worry. They sent Mrs. Chomistek’s mom to see what had happened.

Byron thought for a moment and then he said, "I wish Mrs. Chomistek’s mother were a kid!“ THE END

Edit by Bob Munsch --- I think this last page should say:

Byron looked around and said, "I could be a better principal that that." Just then - Kaboom! And then Byron was the principal.
