My Shabbat ServiceA Social Story

I will be attending virtual Shabbat services on February 6.

I can join the service on Zoom using my computer, tablet, or smartphone.

I will see myself in the screen as well as many other people.

Cantor Rachel, Rabbi Ben, and Josh will lead the service.

I will do good sitting, and I will listen to the service.

Josh will play guitar.I will sing along if I want to.

We will recite a special prayer called the “Sh’ma.”Some people close their eyes for this prayer.

Shabbat is a day of joy and rest. We celebrate Shabbat every week!

We can say “Shabbat Shalom” to the people we love.

We will celebrate by dancing and singing with the Torah.Then, Josh will read the Torah.

I can play a tambourine, shaker, or any other instrument if I want.I can even clap if I want to!

I can eat a snack or take a drink anytime during the service.

At the end of the service, I will be able to draw on the screen with other people in the zoom room.
