Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 and he’s from Gary, Indiana in America. He had four brothers and a sister, name Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Jackie Jackson and Janet Jackson and mother and father name Joseph Jackson and Katherine Jackson. Michael became the lead singer of his family group, the Jackson 5, since when he was 5 years old. He then did a song "Got to Be There," as a solo artist at the age of 13, but he was still partly in the Jackson 5 group. In the year 1979 he went on to his solo career and delivered No. 1 hits from the album “Off the Wall”, and the song “Don’t stop till you get enough” became Jackson's first solo No. 1 hit single .

Michael Jackson then had allegations of child molestation in his later years, which made his career slow down a bit, but he died in the year 2009 before launching a comeback tour from all the allegations placed upon him.

Biography

Michael Jackson was known as the ‘King of Pop’, and he also worked in Hip Hop, soul, R&B and Rock music genre during his career. He has worked with and collaborated with Janet Jackson, Akon, 3T, Boys 11 Men, Britney Spears and Paul McCartney. He also sang in the 1985 USA for Africa song.

He collaborated with Usher, Chris Tucker and the N’sync in a live performance.

During Michael Jackson’s early videos and early years as an artist, he was loved by everyone and by the people he worked with. There was a video he did with Paul McCartney he looked happy and wants to be everywhere, and that was when he was younger.

But when he started to grow in age he became really calm and soft when he speaks and this was because of the disease he had called (Vitiligo) which causes the skin to whiten. Michael Jackson went from black to white due to this disease and due to frustration of seeing his skin go white, he had to be using bleaching cream on his body to become completely white. This is also the reason why he wore gloves in his concerts or when he’s going on a tour.

From his early years to his progressing image he has always played a character in almost all his music video, his videos always has a story to it and I think that’s very creative and there is always a Narrative story to his music videos.

Michael Jackson is always shown performing, because he’s a dancer and his performers, and concerts are always great.

Michael Jackson has a specific visual motif and that is his gloves, he always wears gloves to his concert, when he’s on tour and in open places. And he always wears in on one hand.

Michael Jackson had different hair styles through his career, he loves wearing shining costumes, suits and long sleeve shirts that he never buttons, but ties the bottom end on his waist. He uses props in most of his performances and videos. And he is also a dancer, he dances in every show and videos he ever made.

These songs was performed when Michael Jackson was in his family group called The Jackson Five. He was in the group with his four brothers, the group went on for years, before his solo career. The songs I want you back and ABC was dedicated to love and Michael Jackson was the lead singer of the group since when he was five years old. They also sang some other songs called I’ll be there, Blame it on the boogie and can you feel it

He decided to go into his solo career in 1972 and brought out his first album called ‘Of The Wall’ and the single “Don’t stop till you get enough”.

This song is a figure of the charge of love and the feeling a feeling that is so strong that you shouldn’t stop till you get enough. Michael made this video when he left his group to become a solo artist and this song sold up to 20 million copies world wide.

After Michael Jackson made his first single, he did another hit song called Thriller in the year 1983, which made 8 Grammy award and became the best selling record of all time. And one of the most expensive video made, which cost half a million dollar. And at that time that was a lot of money.

The video contains monsters like werewolf's and zombies. Michael Jackson was the werewolf in the beginning of the video which later came out as a movie in the actual video. Then later through the video graves started opening and some group of zombies came out from the grave. When Michael Jackson was on the way home after watching the movie with his girlfriend in the video. And suddenly they became surrounded by zombies and Michael Jackson became one of the zombie and started dancing and chasing after the girl.

After Michael Jackson made the hit on thriller, he made another video called Billie Jean in that same year (1983) and that’s when he continued more in his music career and made more videos, more hit songs and continued growing as the Pop King.

This song demonstrates the life of Michael Jackson as a spirit in the form of a tiger trying to get to a sick girl called Billie jean. But an inspector kept on following him and trying to take pictures of him, and the inspector was caught by the police and got arrested, when he went to the house of the sick girl and standing by the window, watching Michael Jackson standing where she was laying down.

This video was the second to last music video Michael Jackson did before he died. He made this music video with Chris Tucker.

The video is about a girl that Michael Jackson and Chris Tucker saw on the road and they followed her to a bar where they saw her with another man, who was a bad man. But Michael Jackson went ahead and took the girl from him and the dancing and fighting began and after at the fight Michael Jackson got the girl to himself and his friend Chris helped them escape.

This video was the last video Michael Jackson did before he went on break to clear his name of all the allegations put on him, and before he died.

The video is about a girl called Annie that someone came into her apartment and left bloodstains on her carpet. And someone where asking her if she was ok, but she wasn’t answering and they kept on asking her to get an answer.

Michael Jackson became popular through his family group the Jackson 5 and he finally went to his solo career in 1979.
