FRT ? MRT ?How to manage repeated reading ?It is possible with FRT and MRT.FRT = Frequent Revision Technique : how frequently you read one topic.Less gap in between 2 readings, more it stays in your memory. For example – you read mitral stenosis twice in one week.MRT = Multiple Revision Technique : this is total number of times you have read one particular topic. For example – you read mitral stenosis total 5 times till now.

When you read in this manner, re reading becomes absolutely possible.

Methodical study •We share same lectures…read same text books, journals, then why does someone score more and somebody less ?

Answer is: Study methodically –• Topics which are important should be studied first• Your basics have to be strong• Study separately for theory and for viva• Study for viva or practicals from initial days

Re-read even if you know it !

Sachin Tendulkar example : After playing so many games and scoring huge runs, he also must be thinking or planning his game against the side he has to play tomorrow.Everytime you read you discover some new points or just strengthen your previous knowledge ….thus, your confidence increases manifold !

Answer all questions in exam.

• On seeing question paper in examination hall you are not supposed to get thrilled or feel depressed because if you are answering say 40 questions in total 4 papers you already know your question paper as those 40 questions are from the question bank of 400 questions which you are seeing from last 6 months.• Yes may be 2 to 3 questions are different or new

but then they should not bother you if you answer other questions quite well. But answering them is also mandatory, you cannot leave any question unanswered unless there is negative marking.

Body Language

•Have you ever seen a leopard run for its prey ?•Have a close watch once again on you tube video•What you see ?• Leopard has a body language, gaze fixed on the prey and the speed- all winning types

You need to study and approach exams in the same way.

Page 16: My students 1

Attitude !

•Why not aim for the highest ?Girls who participate in Miss India or Miss World Pageant - Do they aim to win the Runner up title ?Most of the students want to just pass and finish off the exams, so those who want to top are actually in a win win situation as they have very less competition to score the highest.
