My Ultimate Reset Results — Get in Shape Fast the Healthy Way I wanted to get in shape fast after summer. It’s usually takes me 3 months to get off the extra summer pounds and by that time it’s the holiday time. This year I decided to give Beachbody’s Ultimate Reset program a try. I’m sure glad I did! My Ultimate Reset Results Drum roll please ….. my results are in from my 21-Day Ultimate Reset Program: Lost 10.5 pounds (127 to 116.5 lbs.) Lost 7.5 inches (measured waists, hips, thighs, upper arm) Lost 2.5% body fat!! Not only did I change physically, but I also learned a lot about myself including: How to eat healthier & have a bunch of great recipes now I really don’t need as much food as I think I snack mindlessly (like every time I’m in the kitchen) I eat my kids’ leftover lunch boxes items I need to drink more water every day I can eat a vegan diet And I do have abs @ 46 years of age! What is the Ultimate Reset?The Ultimate Reset is a healthy 3 weeks program where by you take various natural supplements to help repair the inside of your body – kind of like a tune-up to get you in shape fast.  In just 21 days you can gently restore your body to its optimal “factory settings,” to help you have more energy and greater focus, enjoy better digestion, lose weight, and reclaim your overall health.  You follow the healthy meal plan laid out in the guidebook (including portions and recipes for each meal).  In addition, you take several different natural supplements during each of the 3 weeks to help with digestion, cleaning your colon, maintaining alkalinity, metabolism function, supply mineral needed by the body, and provide oxygen to your body.

I’ve always been into fitness.  My struggle comes with eating.  I always say that it’s so much easier for me to focus on exercise for an hour a day than it is to focus on healthy eating for 15-hour s a day.

However, give me a plan to follow and when I’m determined I will get it done, especially if it will help me get in shape fast.  Of course the great results each week really helped me stay focused and motivated.  I lost 6 pounds the first

week; two pounds week 2; and the final 2.5 pounds in week three. 

After week 1 the diet is all vegan.  Eating vegan is something I have never done, and to be honest I wasn’t sure I could do it.  But I did!

Now What?Now that I am done with formal program, over the next several weeks I will slowly add grains, dairy and lean animal protein back into my diet.  I’m also going to stay clear of  sugar and alcohol for a few more weeks, maybe even longer.Because you are working on repairing the inside of your body during the Ultimate Reset, you don’t exercise for the 3 weeks (walks are ok).  After the three weeks, you can begin to exercise at 50% level and by week 5  you can go full force as long as your body feels good. 

I started back up on the first day with an easy RevAbs workout that included lunges, squats, push-ups, back flies, and bridges.  You know what, I’m pretty sore today from this workout.   My muscles just aren’t used to it, but it’s a good feeling.  My hope is after this week I will go back to my favorite program P90X.  Now that I’ve leaned out, it’s time to tone up with weights.  I will really get in shape fast with my healthy eating habits now.
