One of the youngest Aalims in CPT. Current Imaam at Masjid Al Monowar in Retreat. Completed Hifz at age 12 in CPT, graduated Aalim course at Darul Uloom Pretoria, completed a BA degree in Islamic studies at IPSA in Cape Town. Further studies in Yemen under Shk Habib Omar. Has more than 10 years’ experience with Hajj.

Shk Dilawar Baba

Current Imaam at Awwal Masjid in Bokaap. Completed Hifz in Zakariya Park. Aalim and Shariah course completed in CPT. Completed an Arabic course in Syria. Part of the NYF youth foundation teaching Quran and Madrassa to students. Current teacher at Dar Ul Saffa.

Shk Mohammed Carr

Completed the memorization of the Quran under Shk Ismail Londt at dar Ubaiy Institute in 2000. Graduated from the Darul Uloom Al Arabiyyah Al Islamiyyah under Molana Taha Karaan. After graduation, Shk Abdurragman Khan served as a lecturer at the same institute. He established Dar al-Turath al-Islami. In 2011, Shk co-founded the Mahabba Foundation and was honored to join the Fatwa committee of the Muslim udicial Council of South Africa in 2013. Shk received ijazah’ammah from various luminaries, inclbut not restricted to Habib Umar Bin Hafiz.
