The university portal experience will be defined by: The sites ability to know you and your assigned roles, and the customization by the customer and/or organization.

• Works directly with Banner and Banner Self-service (VandalWeb).

• Has been adopted and refined by other Universities across the country.

• myUidaho starts by assigning you to a role.– Staff– Faculty– Student

• Additional roles.– CLASS Student– Law Faculty– Retiree

• The roles that you’re assigned to will define the starting experience inside of myUIdaho.

• New roles can be added or removed as needed.

• Departments will be able to define the experience for their faculty, staff, and students based on roles.

username and password. This is the same as what you have been using for email, blackboard, AD, etc…

• Tabs are assigned to each user based on the roles they are members of.

• User can create custom tabs.• Tabs can be reordered by the user.

• Added by roles.• Added by user.• Most can be moved.• User can define custom channels.

• Remove and add channels.• Move tabs into any order.• Create new tabs.• RSS feeds.
