Downloading the InTouch Patient Application for MyVirtualVisit

If you use an iPhone or iPad you must use the InTouch Patient application (app) to attend your

MyVirtualVisit appointment. You will only have to download the app once. For each appointment, you

will receive an invitation from your provider through email or SMS.

Option 1 – Downloading from the App Store in advance of your appointment

Step 1. Open the App Store. Tap the Search icon that will allow you to search apps in the App

Store.

Step 2. To find the InTouch Patient app, in the Seach field, enter ‘intouch patient’. Tap on the InTouch

Patient app icon when it shows on your screen.

Step 3. To download and install the app to your device tap the GET icon for the InTouch Patient app. You

may be prompted to enter your device passcode, iTunes password, or use Fingerprint ID or Face ID to

download the app. This will depend on the security settings of your device.

Option 2 – Downloading from the Self-Test waiting room

Step 1. After entering the MyVirtualVisit Self-Test waiting room, you will be prompted to download or

open the InTouch Patient application. Click the App Store button. This will open the App Store to the

InTouch Patient Application.

Step 2. To download and install the app to your device tap the GET icon for the InTouch Patient app. You

may be prompted to enter your device passcode, iTunes password, or use Fingerprint ID or Face ID to

download the app. This will depend on the security settings of your device.

IMPORTANT!! After you have Downloaded and Opened the app for the first time, you must return to

the Self Test Waiting Room link to test your connection.

Once you have the InTouch Patient app installed, tap CONFIRM at the bottom of the page.

Tap Open in the small pop up window that appears. Tap Check In on the next screen:

Complete the self-test by clicking on the “Test Connection” and then exit the page.
