As a highly internationalized furniture fair, the overseas visitors' quality is fully confirmed by the exhibitors. In 2016 edition, the total no. of overseas visits was 15,077 from 158 countries & regions, consisting of 3.09% from Africa, 12.08% from North America, 4.86% from Latin America, 48.85% from Asia, 3.15% from Middle East, 8.77% from Oceania, and 19.2% from Europe.

This year’s local visitors had improved in both quantity and quality. 104,898 domes-tic visits was achieved in total, a 26.90% increasement compared to the year earlier. As HKTDC research says, China is a large scaled furniture consumption market of more than 36 billion dollars with a year-on-year growing rate of 16.1%. Even though, it has still vast room for expansion.

"Design Sofa & Fabrics" has been successfully held for 3 sessions. The activity aims at stimulating the cohesion and creativity of the whole industry chain. Last year, 52 companies from the sofa enterprises, designer brands, fabric enterprises and software machinery accessories manufacturers, submitted in total 93 sofas to the exhibition. In 2017, " Design Sofa & Fabrics " will be located at Hall E8A & E8B to be fully upgraded by gathering high-end fabric enterprise to create functional sofas in multi forms.
