BACK-TO-BACK SEC TOP FRESHMAN HONORS► Morgan William earned the season's first SEC Freshman of the Week honor after scoring 19 against Mercer and 29, fifth-most by a Bulldog rookie, against Arkansas State in the Preseason WNIT.► Victoria Vivians earned the honor a week later after averaging 19.3 ppg to earn WNIT MVP honors. She scored 26 points against West Virginia, 22 in the second half, before claiming her first double-double (16 pts., 12 rbds.) vs. WKU.

DYNAMIC DUO► William rates third in the SEC in freshman scoring at 11.7 ppg. She and Viv-ians combine for 28.0 ppg, making them one of the nation's top freshman scoring duos.► William has knocked down 57 of 69 free throws for an 82.6% clip that is third in the SEC.

WILLIAM GIVES AND TAKES► William not only scores, but she dishes to her teammates. She had a season-high seven assists vs. Mississippi Valley State, putting her fifth in the SEC with 4.5 assists per game. She also swipes the basketball at a 2.1 rate that is 15th.

GRANT JOINS THE 1,000-POINT CLUB!► Senior Kendra Grant scored four points Sunday at USM, but they were big points as they made her the 21st Bulldog to join the school's 1,000-point club.► Grant is the second current Bulldog to join the club as Alwal achieved the honor last season.► The Richland, Miss., native had her best outing of the season Monday, scoring 11 points on 4 of 8 shooting. She made both of her 3-point attempts.

CHAPEL ON THE RISE► Ketara Chapel rates third on the team with 9.5 ppg. She has started all 11 games after drawing the opening nod in just four contests last season.►Chapel, who is shooting 56.2% from the field, matched last season's total with her fourth double-digit scoring game against Louisiana Tech (13 points). ► She joined Vivians on the WNIT All-Tournament Team after averaging 12.5 points in the four games. She matched William with a team-high 17 points in the championship game after claiming her first double-double against No. 16 West Virginia with personal highs of 19 points and 11 boards.
