What began in 1967 with the introduction of a flexible hose for extractor hoods, has continued steadily since then: the development of innovative, technologically leading and economical products for the air guidance of all kinds of extractor hoods. Milestones were regularly set that not only convinced and inspired our customers, but also their customers. An effect that also did not elude the juries of numerous international design prizes, as the host of awards for Naber air-conditioning products show. The COMPAIR® air ducts made of plastic in 1975, the stainless steel blinds in 2001, the COMPAIR® flow air ducts (2005/2006) and the COMPAIR flow Star GTS® 2008, then the most energy-efficient wall conduct on the market, deserve a brief mention here. Market proximity meets creativity The proximity to the European and global markets with their partners, the development in our own laboratory, the cooperation with technical colleges and universities, and last but not least, a certain tenacity, regularly produced new products that set trends and always anticipated the technical development in the surroundings. Since their introduction, the COMPAIR® flow air ducts have answered the challenges for planners and craftsmen posed by increasingly powerful exhaust hoods. They also take into account the wishes of building contractors for efficient systems that actually implement the performance promises of the devices in practice. The trend towards the increasing tightness of the building envelope was already taken up in 2009 with the Blower-Door test of the wall conduct COMPAIR flow Star GTS®, which was followed in 2015 by the Naber THERMOBOX. With its simple and creative concept of using the air itself as an insulating medium, efficient, healthy, low-odour and quiet exhaust air operation is even possible in highly efficient energy saving houses. For this, three magnetically closed flaps trap the air cushion and, at the same time, ensure optimal volume flows.

The story of air technology in the kitchen is not finished yet, as the medium-sized family company promises.
