Which Membership is Best for You?REGULAR MEMBERSHIPThis membership is for companies that are actively engaged in the business of performing residential, commercial and/or industrial air duct cleaning services while retaining at least one certified Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff at each location.

In order to be accepted for a Regular Membership, you must fulfill the following requirements within 6 months of submitting your application:

• Certificate of LiabilityInsurance (namingNADCA as a certificateholder)

• Full payment of $100one-time application fee

• Full payment of $895 annual dues

• ASCS CertifiedTechnician on staff

SUPPLEMENTAL MEMBERSHIPThis membership is for Regular Member companies with more than one physical location. Each additional location performing HVAC system cleaning services is required to have a supplemental membership and an ASCS on staff.

In order to become a Supplemental Member your company must have at least one current Regular Membership, in addition to the following:

• Submission of yourmembership application

• Payment of a $100 one-time application fee

• Payment ofyour $295annual dues

• ASCSCertifiedTechnicianon staff

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSThis membership is for companies engaged in the manufacture and/or distribution of air duct cleaning equipment, cleaning accessories, HVAC filters, air purifiers, related products, or services.

What is required to become an Associate Member?

• Submission of yourmembership application

• Payment of a $100 one-time application fee

• Payment of your $895 annual dues

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP This membership is for non-contracting individuals who represent government entities, non-profit associations, and academic institutions. Professional engineers, architects, home inspectors, industrial hygienists, and facilities maintenance professionals are also eligible for Affiliate Membership. Individuals or firms offering HVAC cleaning service to the public, or those offering products or services for sale to HVAC cleaning companies, are not eligible for Affiliate Membership.

What is required to become an Affiliate Member?

• Submission of yourmembership application

• Payment of a $50 one-time application fee

• Payment of your $295 annual dues

Did You Know? The Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification requires individuals to earn 6 (six) Continuing Education Credits (CECs) each year in order to be eligible for renewal. Attendees of NADCA’s Annual Meeting and Technical Conference earn 6 (six) CECs at each event, so you will meet the minimum required by simply attending one of NADCA’s meetings!

Dryer Exhaust Duct Performance (DEDP) StandardThe DEDP Standard is designed to provide a quantifiable testing method for performance validation of dryer exhaust ducts.

This allows a technician to provide the consumer with information about their dryer exhaust duct performance, including any conditions that may be impacting their dryer venting performance.

This standard can also be applied when validating dryer exhaust duct performance in new residential construction installations.

Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS)This landmark certification enhances

one’s professional development and is also a world-wide credential recognizing a person’s knowledge and skills related to HVAC system hygiene. The ASCS certification is often required for your company to bid on various jobs and many job specifications require that a certified ASCS be present at the project site.

As a NADCA member, you will save more than $1,000 on the ASCS certification!

Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI)This advanced certification tests

one’s knowledge on the proper inspection of a system’s cleanliness. A passing grade on the CVI certification exam demonstrates knowledge and understanding of inspecting HVAC systems, diagnosing IAQ problems, and reporting findings to the customer.
