Fiddler on the Roof is a musical by Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein that was first performed on Broadway in 1964.

This musical was based on the story Tevye and His Daughters by Sholem Aleichem. The story was about the milkman Teyve and his Jewish family living in Russia in 1905.

Fiddler on the Roof was made into a movie in 1971. It won 3 Academy Awards.
