Primary Treatment System

Raw effluent generated from process section is

collected in the Equlisation Tank after passing

through a manually operated Bar Screen. Screening is

done to retain the large, floating matter. The

collected screenings are disposed off manually, In the

equalization tank, sufficient retention time is

provided to equalize and homogenize the variation in

the and pollutant concentration. The homogenised

effluent is then constantly pumped to ECR system

where treated by ECR and primary clarifier after

addition of suitable polyelectrolyte. Then send to

primary inclined plate clarifier, Clear Clarified effluent

overflowing into the outlet launder of the inclined

plate clarifier is the taken to SBR (Sequential Bath

Receptor) for reduction of BOD/COD/DO by Biological

process

The Settled sludge is removed/ transferred by gravity

to the aerobic digester tank for further process, and

stabilization before dewatering on a filter press.
