Al concluir la Carrera de Idiomas los estudiantes demostrarán haber adquirido y

desarrollado las siguientes competencias, capacidades, habilidades, destrezas y

desempeños como resultados de su formación profesional:

1. Usa el idioma inglés a un nivel B2 del Common European Framework.

2. Maneja competentemente los métodos y estrategias metodológicas para la

enseñanza del idioma inglés según las exigencias del Teaching Knowledge Test

(TKT)

3. Diseña programas o cursos específicos y sus respectivos materiales didácticos.

4. Elabora materiales didácticos mediante la utilización de NTIC´s.

5. Transforma el contexto educativo a tráves de la práctica de valores.

La Carrera de Idiomas adopta como instrumentos de evaluación interno del perfil de

ingreso dos simulaciones de exámenes con estándares internacionales. Siendo así,

Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) test de acreditación internacional para la enseñanza

del inglés y Test of English as a Foreing Language (TOEFL) para la

competencia comunicativa.

STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

Business module purpose is to use English in an oral and written way to communicate

efficiently in a business context according to the requirements of a global world.. Learn

this module allow you to communicate your oral message with clarity, it will be an

essential tool for your professional future.There are many reasons and expectations for

taking this course and contribute to capitalize it.

Business involves constant flow of information as a fundamental part of any

organizations. It involves number of people. Communication here plays a very

important role in process of directing and controlling the people in the organization.

Immediate feedback can be obtained and misunderstandings if any can be avoided.

To contribute to mi knowledge in this module I will use some strategies. I

practice a lot in order to be more involved with the English native pronunciation and to

learn more business vocabulary. Also I will read a lot in order to learn more vocabulary

and have good business communication.

As a result Business module takes a communicative approach to communicate in

English using the language skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing in the

business world.

PurposeUse English in an oral and written way to communicate efficiently in a business context according to the requirements of a global world.

Course Description:

Business communication involves constant flow of information as a fundamental part of any organizations. It involves number of people. Communication here plays a very important role in process of directing and controlling the people in the organization. Immediate feedback can be obtained and misunderstandings if any can be avoided.So, the aim is to develop learners’ confidence and fluency in some basic areas of business; as well as improving communication techniques and developing and consolidating the target language in this context. Besides, students will be able to recognize some technical vocabulary within the business context, apply rules of socialization with people from different cultures; analyze rules of communication through technological resources. Also they will prepare simulated telephone support and assess business projects. This syllabus contributes to the development of the Communicative Competence in correspondence to the Council Common European Framework level B2.

make of it one original alternative of dessert.

Cascarita Jam will help you for some aspects for your health specially in the

immune system, because it has vitamins A, C and D.

Objectives

The objectives of operation include:

To exceed customers’ expectations.

To increase the number of clients in a certain period

To develop other similar products.

To develop enough cash to continue investing in the same business.

Mission

Cascarita Jam mission is to provide the best and natural products such as

watermelon’s jam.

Company Summary

Cascarita Jam is made in Ambato. It will offer high product quality to the Ecuadorian

community. Cascarita Jam will be tasted by lots of people and is selling in the near stores

and markets. All the ingredients of Cascarita Jam are natural and clean.

Capital and Expenses

Cascarita Jam will sell its product walking around the stores and offering the product to

owners and giving them good and low prices in order to benefit both parts. The production

of 12 unities of jamb will cost about $ 40 dollars. Cascarita Jam will be sell about 5$ each

one. Cascarita Jam intends to increase the capital in a 30%.

The Ecuadorian commerce of natural products is big. There are several little companies

who make similar to each other in terms of price and kind of desserts. For whatever

reasons, there has been little demand by consumers to innovate their products. Marketing

and Sales Strategy

Cascarita Jam marketing strategy will be based on developing visibility among

Ecuadorian community. This will be accomplished through two ways. The first

method is a targeted advertising campaign. Advertisements will be placed in

various newsletters.

The other strategy is to give a few taste to people on streets .

Cascarita Jam sales strategy will visit the enough markets possible in order to the

people can know the product.

FINAL REFLECTION

Business is a module who teaches to communicate in English using the language

skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing in the business world. Business

communication involves constant flow of information as a fundamental part of any

organizations

In this module I learned to recognize some technical vocabulary for communication

within the business context and toresent a conversation about keeping the conversation

going during small talks based on the corresponding units of the book.Using some didactic

resources such as slides, markers, projector, audiovisual aids, and internet.

In Business I saw some different topics and problems and I developed them in an

oral presentations, role plays, discussions debates etc. Also I wrote and presented scripts

about ways to invite visitors to have a social time based on what was covered in

class .Finally I learned to Analyze rules of communication through technological resources

for business issues, :participating in role plays about receiving phone calls and a Business

letter based on the contents of the textbook.

In conclusion this module was so uplifting in order to pass to the next level and also I

have learned important communication goals and Business using useful didactic resources

such as oral presentations, discussions, workshops, debates, role plays, and simulations.
