Sri Swami Vishwananda

is a revered Vaishnava Saint of the Sri Sampradaya, whose teachings aim to awaken unconditional Love for the Lord. He gives people access to a very personal experience with the Divine, regardless of culture, gender or age.

My Mission is to open the hearts of Man.Sri Swami Vishwananda

Narasimha Chaturthi is the celebration of the day when Lord Narasimha, the half-man half-lion incarnation of Lord Narayana, appeared on Earth in this wonderful form. He came to protect His five-year-old devotee Prahlad Maharaj from the wrath and cruelty of his demonic father Hiranyakashipu. He symbolises God as the protector of the true seeker, much like the role of a Guru on one‘s spiritual path.

The temple was inaugurated on the 27th of June 2009. The name of the temple translates to ‘Pure Effulgent Lord Narasimha’ and signifies His greatness, beauty and lustre. The celebrations include a Maha Abishekham to the Lord and the appearance of His most powerful form - Ugra Narasimha, whilst accompanied by an evening of lively kirtan.
