Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore is one of the biggest hospitals in the world. It is being marketed as one of
the largest hospitals, with a heart.

Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore was established in the year 2000 by Dr. Devi Shetty under the guidance of the Asian Heart Foundation (AHF). Its Jaipur branch was opened in 2010.

Human Resource Department

The hospital provides job opportunities to MBA students in various departments:

Narayna Hrudalaya is a decent choice for career development. As per observation, they aspire for good
leadership and planning skills, encourage employees by recognitions and awards and have a good working
environment.
The salary structure varies from employee to employee. For example, an experienced HR manager may get
around 18,000 per month, whereas a fresher might be able to obtain around 10-12 K per month.
To understand the need of managers in the hospital, the job description of a Senior Manager in finance is

When I think about NH, the first words that come to my mind is "Constant Drive to Improve". Every person in the management is continuously looking at making the workplace better for employees. There is huge scope for learning here and this keeps me ticking everyday. You can see our people smiling all through the day and that is proof enough to show how happy we are at work.
CONCLUSION

Narayana Hrudalaya group is a promising organization for management students interested in healthcare
industry. Although the hospitals are known for specialized cardiac surgeries, other treatments are done
effectively.
In Jaipur, the sickbay is located in industrial area far away from main city. They aim to treat middle class and
rural patients at low costs and good services. In spite of providing good services at comparatively low profits,
the hospital earns high revenues. According to the individual - audited financial statement for the Year of
2011, total net operating revenues for the hospital increased with 45.27%, from INR 327.34 tens of millions to
INR 475.54 tens of millions.
They offer job opportunities for almost all segments related to administration (marketing, IT, finance, sales,
HR, etc.) with reasonable growth opportunities. The hospital also provides internships and trainings to
students.
