Paolo Vittoria was born in Naples, Italy, and is currently Professor of Philosophy of Education at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His doctorate is from the Federico II University, Naples, and his Post-doctorate from the Federal Fluminense University of Rio de Janeiro. Paolo Vittoria is an international reference point and author-ity on Paulo Freire and popular education. He has authored numer-ous books and articles, a number of them published and translated into many languages. With Antonio Vigilante he is Chief Director of the international journal “Educazione Democratica” and of the se-ries “Praxis” for “Quintadicopertina Publisher”. Paolo also writes fables for children and adults.
