Professional adviceTo make sure that you get the most from your new door, it is important to take all practical factors into account from day one of the project: The load on the door, space considerations both outdoors and indoors, use of the area behind the door, users’ working conditions, and much more. For these purposes, you can rely on your local authorized NASSAU dealer before and during the project. As an additional service at the quota-tion stage, you can have an accurate drawing of the finished door to give you all the information you need in the decision-making stage.

All components are subject to ongoing quality control, and we check every single door before dispatch. The NASSAU 9000 door has been developed to withstand even the harshest climatic conditions. Our high demands in terms of materials and finish mean that the door has the best resi-stance to wind and water and the best insulating properties on the market.

Tough requirements at every stage

Your safety is our responsibility
A door with many moving parts requires special attention to safety measures. With the NASSAU 9000, we have developed the safest door ever produced.
Protecting usersThe NASSAU 9000 is equipped with finger protection, making it impossible for users’ fingers to get trapped between the sections of the door.
The door is also available with both spring- and cable-break protection. This prevents the door from crashing down in case of torsion spring or lifting cable failure.
Approved to EN 13 241-1 All NASSAU doors meet the European product standard EN 13 241-1, which ensures the highest level of safety in use.
The NASSAU 9000 is also manufactured in accordance with national and European standards and environmental requirements.
Protection against crashing doors Protection against trapping
Spring-break protection
Cable-break protection*
Protection disks on door rollers*
Bottom edge protection on electrically-operated doors
* Optional
With spring-break protection fitted, the door is prevented from falling if the door’s torsion springs should break.
A protection disk has been fitted in front of the door rollers in the guide rail. This minimi-zes the risk of injuries to fingers that might otherwise get trapped between the door rollers and the rail.
The door lifting cable is fed inside the rail assembly itself, minimi-zing the risk of contact between the cable and people or objects.
With cable-break protection fitted, the door is prevented from falling if one or both of the door’s lifting wires should break.
Bottom edge protec-tion automatically stops the door if the door comes into contact with people or objects while closing.
On electronically operated doors, sa-fety sensors are fitted where required, to automatically stop the door if an obstacle is present in the doorway while closing.
The convex and concave section tops and bottoms fit together perfectly, preventing fingers or other objects from becoming trapped between the sections.
Tests are carried out by:

The door for all applications
Steel, aluminium or stainless steelDoors are available in aluminium or steel. However, if the location of the door imposes special requirements concerning cleaning and hygiene, we can match these requirements with a special stainless version. This makes cleaning easier and enables the door to withstand even extreme exposure without rusting.
Steel: Aluminium:
The NASSAU 9000F was developed for inten-sive daily use. This robust door was developed with durability, design and cost-efficiency in mind and will tolerate innumerable openings and closings throughout its installation life. The door is made from 44 mm polyurethane foam sections with a remarkable section height of 675 mm. The tall sections produce a harmonious door with few joints. Yet the door is easy to operate and quiet in use.
Keeping heat insideThe door provides effective protection against the wind, the rain and the cold due to a combination of polyurethane foam sections and effective seals all the way round. The door sections are fitted with a synthetic strip which breaks the thermal bridge between the front and back of the panel. This means that thermal transfer through the door is reduced, heat loss is minimized and condensation on the inside of the door is reduced.
Harmonious designThe hidden section joints combined with the embossed surface give the NASSAU 9000F a contemporary, minimalistic appearance ideal for modern buildings. The door comes in 10 standard colours or can be custom painted according to your wishes within the RAL or NCS colour scales.
Windows and pass doors – the choice is yoursYou can supplement the door with both windows and an integrated pass door. Four types of windows are available, all of which are fixed-frame constructions to prevent illegal entry.

Same design doors and side/upper sectionsTo give your facade a harmonious overall look, you can choose the same surface finish and coating as your NASSAU sectional door for your access doors and over and upper fields. We manufacture doors and panels to order, giving you complete freedom in terms of shapes and colours.
In general, we recommend that you place pedestrian access doors next to the door rather than in the door itself, for both practical and safety reasons.

Precision from A to Z
The perfect fitIn order for a door to slide smoothly and quietly and be capable of withstanding the rigours of daily use in a professional setting, it must be installed accurately and precisely relative to the doorway. The slightest misalignment or imprecision can cause noise and abrasive wear. That is why the NASSAU 9000 is fitted with strong, adjustable components to allow precision installation of the door.An additional benefit is that the door is completely sealed to protect workers against cold or draughts.
Built-in reinforcements Reinforcements in the door leaf sec-tions add durability to the middle and side hinges, as well as to the fitting of the reinforcement profiles on the door leaf.
Adjustable hinges and fittingsThe door is equipped with adjustable hinges and fittings to allow optimal installa-tion with respect to the building. This also means that the door forms an effective seal to eliminate indoor draughts when the door is closed.
Adjustable guide tracksThe guide tracks on the door are adjustable relative to the angle rail secured to the building. This enables the door to be adjusted independently of any misalignment in the building.
Professional installation
To guarantee optimal, problem-free
operation of the door, we recommend
that the door be installed by a specially
trained NASSAU dealer.
15
There is always room for a NASSAU door
Individual assessment of door tracksOne of the advantages of the NASSAU 9000 is that the door leaf is pulled completely free of the doorway. This means that the height of the door opening can be fully exploited. In the same way, you get full benefit from your ceiling height by routing the tracks as close to the ceiling as possible. This method also provides the most stable door fitting and operation.
The tracks that guide the door leaf during opening and closing are available in many versions, allowing them to be routed to suit the individual circumstances of each door. Decisive factors in the choice of tracks include the headroom above the doorway and the slope of the ceiling in the room. We consider all these factors before we give you our final recommendation for track type.
Adjustable lifting cableThe door’s lifting cable can be adjusted easily during servicing to keep the lifting wire taught, which is essential for optimal door operation.
Specially manufactured door rollersOur door rollers are specially manufac-tured from materials which guarantee prolonged service life and friction-less running.

Financial benefit of electric operation
For the good of the users – and the doorElectric door operation is much more than the convenience of being able to operate the door automatically. With electric operation and auto-close, you also reduce the amount of time that the door is open. This reduces temperature loss and minimizes the draught nuisances that make the working environment unpleasant.Electric operation also makes the door move gentler and more smoothly, which reduces wear on moving parts and extends the service life of the door.
Safety firstThe safety system on the NASSAU 9000 constantly monitors the door’s electronic features to ensure the safety of everyone around the door. If just one safety function fails, the door is automatically put out of operation and can only be operated manually.
Naturally, the electrically operated solutions from NASSAU Door are approved in accordance with all current international standards for safety and functionality.
Electric operation to meet your needsElectric operation can be fitted completely according to your needs. You can choose from a wide variety of different operating principles:

Power and placement according to your needs The motor for the electronic controls must be correctly configured according to the measurements, weight and intended use of the door. As a consequence, we offer a series of motors and recommend the model that best corresponds to your needs. The electric gear motors can be mounted on the shaft in a variety of ways. If there is insufficient room on the side to mount the motor on the shaft, the motor can also be mounted as a chain motor. No matter the challenge we will always come up with a functional solution.
