Problem statement | The BPS industry lacks consistent standards for protection of Confidential Information

There is a lack of clarity regarding what constitutes Confidential Information

Providers feel pressured to share as much information as possible to demonstrate competence during sales cycles

Providers also feel exposed to inadvertent disclosure of their intellectual property by enterprise buyers

Advisors may unwittingly be contributing to the industry tension by demanding extensive information when assisting buyers in the procurement process

The potential for the inadvertent disclosure of Confidential Information in the BPS industry is an industry-wide issue
