Students can make use of our book and DVD library, free WiFi and computers with internet access. The Director of Studies and our teachers are also always available to assist students with extra resources to help with their mastery of the English language.

At Oxford English Academy we have an exciting and varied weekly social programme that showcases stunning Cape Town and its surrounds. Students can enjoy famous landmarks such as the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and Robben Island. In addition they can take part in adventure activities such as safaris, full day tours, tailor-made 3 day tours, shark cage diving and paragliding, to name a few.

You may be required to apply for a visa should you wish to learn English in South Africa. Please ensure that you apply for the correct visa and with enough time before you plan to travel. Oxford English Academy will provide you with an acceptance letter with which you can apply for your visa.

We highly recommend that you get comprehensive travel and medical insurance before you arrive at the school. It may also be a requirement for your visa application.

Should you require an airport transfer, one can be arranged prior to your arrival. Our driver will be waiting for you at Cape Town International Airport and will take you directly to your accommodation.
