Exactly when did 2011 begin to xceed Nathan’
xpectations? It’s a hard question to answer. Nathan came from the slums of Birmingham to hitting
big stages like the indigo 02 Arena in London, and he done it in the space of only a year, kind of what Drake done who is a big sensation globally right now. Some say Nathan may even follow in his footsteps and some say he will make a breakthrough in America just like Tinie Tempah has done in recent months.

A lot of UK male rap artists have recently been criticised for trying too hard to be like artists like; Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, and even Drake. The thing that seems to make you hit the big time at this moment in time is being unique and being your own artist rather than a gimmick of someone who already exists, something X-Factor has constantly been blamed for doing as well as making the music industry look like an easy business to get into.
There hasn’t really been a female UK R’n’B or Rap Artist to fully represent Great Britain and the hidden talent that it has, maybe this is that time, but I hope Nathan doesn’t think it’s going to be an easy ride with new comer

Nathan has already been nominated for best male new comer at the MOBO Awards, and there are rumours going around that he has been having deep conversa-tions with Birdman the Head Executive of Young Money and Cash Money Records. Signing with them would allow Nathan’ to work alongside artists like Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Drake, and fellow British artist Jay Sean.
