Qualifying for NationalsThe ISA National Art Exhibition represents the pinnacle of artistic achievement across ISA’s 455 Members’ Schools and just under 100,000 pupils. The ISA is indebted to its seven area art coordinators, who enthusiastically administer, run and organise the local competition in their areas, with the generous support of their schools. This National Final would simply not be possible without them and the huge amount of time they devote to this. The pieces illustrated in this booklet qualified for Nationals by winning the class at one of the regional competitions.

We also thank the Heads and Governors of the schools who hosted the competitions; the ISA Members and individuals who coordinated the delivery and collection of vast quantities of artwork to the regional and national competitions around the country.Most especially though, thanks and congratulations should be given to the individual art teachers and to the ISA pupils who put in the tremendous hard work to produce the artwork, only a fraction of which is featured in these pages.
