To the 2014-15 Chapter Board of Directors…WELCOME! I am convinced you are ready for your role in guiding our chapter as we look to grow and strengthen the Grand Rapids Chapter, while increasing the value that NAWIC brings to our members and their companies. Thank you for committing your time to lead our chapter this coming year. Many of you joined our chapter during the last NAWIC program year. We are so glad that you decid- ed to join us! Please contact me if you are interested in joining a committee, or have questions about how you can get the most out of your NAWIC membership. If you haven’t attended an APC (Annual Planning Conference) in the past, please consider attending this year. There are several interesting workshops to attend and you will have the opportunity to see how a regional event is held. Meeting members from the other chapters in our Region is always fun! APC will be held on October 17-18, 2014 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. You can find APC details and the reg- istration form in this issue of the INK. Continued on Page 2... The 2014-2015 NAWIC year is fast approaching! Are you ready to get more involved? Our chapter operates best when we have lots of member involvement. We have committees that focus on membership and programs for the chapter. Please talk to Char Terpsma or Leslie Nelson if you have ques-tions or are ready to get more involved. This is your opportunity to help shape the next year for our chapter!
