Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) of Government of India is operational since

2012. It hosts the Government eProcurement System (GePNIC) developed by National Informatics

Centre in close coordination with Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. CPPP provides a single

point access to all the tendering information on various procurements made across the country.

It facilitates :

ePublishing - Publishing of tender enquiries, corrigendum & award of contract details.

XML - Facilitates publishing of tender comprehensive information of other eProcurement system

eProcurement - Facilitated through – GePNIC© implemented in 550+ Central Government Ministries/

Departments and Public Sector Units, it is also being rolled out across India in 30 State Government /UTs.

Two Bid System (simultaneous receipt of separate technical and financial bids)For purchasing high value plant, machinery etc. of a complex and technical nature, bids may be obtained in two parts as under:

(i) Technical bid consisting of all technical details along with commercial terms and conditions; and

(ii)Financial bid indicating item-wise price for the items mentioned in the technical bid.

First-ever Successful e-Auction in Jammu & Kashmir(https://eauction.gov.in)

Highlight

Directorate of Agriculture Jammu held eAuction for surplus seeds and unserviceable gunny bags in electronic mode through eAuction Portal of NIC for the first time under the Chairmanship of JDA (Inputs) Jammu. The distinction of holding Multi-lot and Single-lot e-Auctions was achieved through the technical support extended by the NIC J & K e-Procurement team.

After successful completion of e-Auction, there would be realization of more than 26-27% revenue over that of last year in case of leftover seeds and 50% more revenue than the basic auction price offered in case of unserviceable gunny bags.

Director Agriculture wished JDA (Inputs) and his team who worked tirelessly to achieve this success during trying times of Covid-19 and expressed his wishes that other Departments of UT will follow suite and carry out e-Auctions whenever needed.
